Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions.

Your space needs to look at it's best when being photographed. It needs to be clean and tidy basically. Your lights will be used to light your space, so replace any blown bulbs. Prop open any doors to rooms that will be included in the virtual tour. The photographer will capture the scene as it appears on the day. So take time to look around before hand.

Please allow a minimum of an hour for a small space (1000 ft²). Then add 30 minutes per additional 1000 ft² of space.

Your space really needs to be closed to the public and controlled by the photographer (in terms of people in shot). We are very flexible in our working hours, so we will work around your business hours to get the job done.

Ideally no people should be inside your space while it is being photographed and scanned. Any objects that move between scans may lead to errors in the 3D model that is used to stitch the photos and scans together.

We aim to deliver a first draft of your tour within 1-2 working days for you to approval. Once approved, further work is carried out such as authoring a tour through the space, adding points of interest, producing 2D photographs, submitting to Google Street View, etc. We aim to get this work done within a week of capturing your space, though this will depend on the size of the space and any additional services you have ordered.

Your virtual tour will be viewable with all modern desktop browsers using HTML5, along with smartphone and tablet devices. Virtual tours are also viewable on mobile VR devices, such as Samsung Gear VR, Google Daydream View and Google Cardboard. If you find a device that our tours do not work with, please let us know and we will do our best to support it.

We will provide you with a simple block of HTML code to add to your website that embeds the virtual tour on your website. You will also get a link to share on your social media channels.
